The Configuration tab is an area used for setting up the commendations and controlling who has the ability to carry out which actions within the module. This area should be restricted to those who are genuinely administrators for the module.
Our Section Secretaries often have the responsibility of entering commendations on behalf of other members of staff. When they do this, they need to select the relevant member of staff from the drop-down (because it is not the secretary who is awarding the commendation).
However, the only way to give them the relevant permission to do this is to give them full access to the module. Without this, any commendation they enter will go in for the secretary.
Within the R&C module are options to determine who has the ability to add/edit/delete commendations. We need a setting for the ability to select/modify the teacher in whose name the commendation is being entered.
This will allow us to give Modify permissions to the secretaries and not Full access to the module.
