We have long form names (Year 2 Bettembourg, Year 6 Stolzembourg, for example) and we give each a Form Code (2B, 6S) and a long name/description. The codes are practical for all of the reporting purposes, registration, admin, spreadsheets because they are short, however with parents it is better to use the long name/description. iSAMS does not have the option to input both pieces of information. It would be an additional field for when you are setting up the form, and then would be available for email templates/letter templates which are sent to parents.
