We use the SMS Wizard for contacting parents about pupil absences. (We have not found the parent notifications feature in Registration Manager to be suitable for this purpose.)
It would be great if we could make use of merge fields, such as pupil name, in the SMS Wizard in the text message we send out.
At the moment we have to manually type out the name for each individual text message as otherwise the parent does not know which of their children the text message is in reference to.
