Add option for recording and playing names pronunciation.

We have many foreign students and it would be a good feature if the teachers had the option to play student's name correct pronunciation.
This could be done by incorporating some kind of voice recorder on student data or at least having the ability to upload an audio file and then click it to play. Similar to student photos and in fact it might be located somewhere under the photos.

We are investigating adding a phonetic field for the pronunciation of names.

There is also a desire from our school to have the same thing as we have international students and would help teachers with the pronunciation of names. I agree with the location or even when a student search is made, there is a small icon that plays the name of the student.

Phonetic and audio pronunciation of pupil names in Student Manager Module

It would be very helpful to have a feature in the Student Manager that allows the addition of both phonetic and audio pronunciation of pupil names. This would benefit both staff and the pupils whose names are mispronounced.

Add a sound file to a students record so a recording of their name pronunciation can be heard easily by staff

Add a sound file to a students record so a recording of the correct pronunciation of their name can be heard easily by staff. This could possibly be embedded with the photo so it would work in other areas of iSAMS such as Teaching Manager or Regis...

Ability to upload a sound file of students pronouncing their name, playable from quick view.

A dedicated area to have a unique file per student (I like to be known as Louisa) max 15s which could be played back by staff to ensure they are referring to students correctly, this ties in with the written phonetic wording which has been requested.
