At the moment it is possible to import set lists via a spreadsheet. If any of the sets do not exist, they can be created automatically.
It would be great if something similar could be done with classes taught by form.
In this case, we would not need to specify a pupil list. Instead of the pupil columns we would specify a named form group and a timetable code.
This would provide a very quick way of creating form-based classes.
At the moment, creating form-based classes is more laborious than creating set-based classes during the timetable import process. So, if this could be done as part of the development database, this would have the happy by product of speeding timetable import process.
