If we could do an email wizrd and use Pupil Registers fields - this would be a huge time saver.
We have Academic Interventions stored in the Registers Module - and if we want to send that information home in a letter- we currently have export them, and mail merge etc and send individual emails.
However, if we could generate emails through the wizard that pulls through the Register's data - it would be a really useful feature. (Much more useful than the dozens and dozens of Registration fields available!)

Good Feature
This would be a powerful addition to Student Manager / Registers Module.
At the moment, the fact that it is not possible to update custom fields on Student Manager with a batch import is a big headache and creates a lot of admin work.
Registers when they were first released, were touted as a flexible alternative to custom fields which to a large part they are - it is a great module. The fact that you can import/change data in the registers makes a huge difference.
However, iSAMS has missed a trick by not adding the register fields to the email wizard.
My guess is that it would be a bit of a technical headache to incorporate them but it would open up the option of emailing data that can be batched upload e.g. times of appointments etc.
An alternative is to add a register email wizard which picks up the student fields in reverse, if that were technically easier?
Totally agree. Being able to select fields from the registers would be a great help. Is this being looked into please?
It would be great to have more module fields available from within the Student Manager Email Wizard merge fields. For example, detentions fields from Discipline Manager and Rewards and Conducts fields.
Currently, detentions info for each pupil is adjusted manually and it would be much more efficient use of admin time to be able to set up an email template with the merge fields included to send in bulk to parents when detentions are set.
