We swap our timetables for internal assessments and, as part of this process, we create sets to function as examination groups.
We timetable these sets so that staff can be assigned for invigilation and registration purposes.
However, these teachers may have nothing to do with the pupils from a teaching perspective. A teacher has to be assigned to the set as otherwise the classes will not appear in lesson registration. However, any teacher assigned to these sets will receive emails from the Contact Pupils' Teachers feature on the Wizard Bar.
We therefore assign a dummy teacher on the system to these sets so that they appear in lesson registration without causing a nuisance with the email system.
However, the only way to edit the assigned teacher is by going into each set individually . This is an incredibly laborious process.
It would be great if there were a way to select a subject, filter by year group, multi-select sets, and re-assign a teacher.
This would also be useful where staff leave us mid-way through year, as we do not necessarily want to bulk sync the timetable to teaching manager due to particular custom arrangements for individual sets (e.g. where there is a 50/50 split between teachers and we want to explicitly mark a specific teacher for the set, the bulk sync process will overwrite these customisations).
