We are currently seeking to transition to a paperless approach with respect to our admissions process. Presently, we manually enter applicant information from our website application form into iSAMS. We are nearing the final stages of completing our admissions portal and making it operational.
Within our admissions procedure, senior leadership will supervise any inquiries from our registrars and annotate the application printout as needed, such as when additional information is required from an applicant. I am aware that there is a notes feature within the applicants tab in the admissions portal. However, I was wondering whether, when adding notes, there is a possibility for another staff member to receive a notification that a note has been added. For instance, could one of our registrars append a note stating "to be reviewed by the principal" and then notify the principal through iSAMS?
