Currently for planned absences (CPD etc) staff have to complete a paper form with all the necessary information which then gets manually entered into the Cover Manager module.
It would be useful if there was functionality on ISAMS for staff to submit their preplanned absence information (which lessons need cover, when, etc). This could be sent to the relevant line managers for approval and, once approved, could appear in Cover Manager ready for staff to be assigned to the cover.
