At the moment, teachers can see all students in Student Manager, even if they don’t teach or have any direct connection to them. It would be really helpful if there were a way to limit their view so they only see students they teach or are responsible for, like their teaching groups, form groups, or year groups.
This would make things simpler for staff and also help from a data protection and safeguarding point of view. It would be great if this could be something admins can configure, so schools can decide what works best for them — for example, letting form tutors see their tutees, but not students from other forms or years.
This kind of access control would improve usability and keep student data more secure. Thanks for considering it!

This is the normal way most international MIS systems work, it comes as a great surprise for our teams when they realize that it is not possible to restrict teachers access to their students only.
Please do consider this a priority, you cant imagine the bad publicity and noise it creates in Spanish Schools when staff realize that all teachers can see all students contact data and reports assessments, etc. It creates a feeling of data breach, and uneasyness around Staff Children.
