There are so many inadequacies with the module that one wonders if new modules are tested with real school staff before being rolled out. It doesn't pick up data from Tracking Manager or Report Manager to make it easy to show historic grades/scores; data input from excel into Tracking Mgr can also be imported to Gradebooks, but then a styling rule can't be used; the filtering function only filters columns not the data within a column, the formula set has loads of trig and log formulae but not a Nested if,then, else for colour-coding grades based on differences from target grades, styling for a column of grade differences can't be used to colour code the actual grades. Dare I say that all these are easily achievable in SIMS.
Very disappointed and I'll be going back to using spreadsheets.
Hello and thank you for the feedback.
Whilst i cant reply to this in relation to a single feature we are currently working on the following
Area to import and manage external data which can be allocated via Gradebook templates created and managed in the new Curriculum Manager Module
Improved ability to reference Gradebook data in real time
Redevelopment of tracking manager to offer streamlined and improved real time analytics within the MIS
Integration of Gradebooks data to our Central Power BI Analytics platform.
Improved streamlined methods allowing users to link Gradebook assessment columns to Reports Manager
Many thanks
